Shouldn't I see something...?

Is it common to not get a positive until after you have missed your period? I'm one day out and still nothing... Yesterday I could have sworn I saw something on my test but this morning just nothing :(

Anyone else not get the early positive?

I'm almost a week late, and I keep getting negatives. Tomorrow will be exactly a week late, so I'm testing again in the morning. It's stressful tho. I'm having virtually all the symptoms, and still no BFP.

I didn't really get a positive until 2 days after I missed mine, and even then it was very faint.
