Mine was included in the panorama test (which I got because I missed my first trimester screen due to an incompetent doctor who failed to mention ANY tests until I brought it up after reading about them several weeks into my pregnancy). The test ended up costing me $490 out of pocket. Insurance covered the rest. I wanted all of the other testing since this is my first and I was nervous after missing other tests. That was a huge out of pocket burden. I found out the gender at 16 weeks but that was just an added bonus. I won't be paying for it next time; now that I know about the other first trimester tests.

I had mine done and I got a denial letter saying my insurance isn't going to pay but I still haven't gotten a bill from the company and that was 20 weeks ago

Mine didn't cost anything, it was done at the same time that all genetic testing was done. I found out about a week later what the results were. Hope this helps.
