Flying while pregnant?

I am flying to California from Kansas this month, I will be 8.5 weeks pregnant when we fly. I haven't called my doctor yet, but just wanted to see what your opinions were about the safety of flying while pregnant. Thanks!

I think the only concern is in late in the third trimester.

I flew when I was almost 2 months.  My only concern was : I was sleepy but couldn't sleep , it was extremely uncomfortable.

I went flying at 6 1/2 weeks my doctor said it was perfectly fine as long as you don't have problems with your pregnancy. The only thing I would worried about is not being comfortable in the seats and your morning sickness kicking in but tell the flight attendants when you board your pregnant and they will try and help you the best they can. I flew in my early weeks of pregnancy, and threw up coming down 😅

I'm flying in January, and I'll be 14 weeks. I was told that it would be fine, just to get up and walk every 2 hours. But definitely talk to your doctor.

As long as you're not high risk you should be good to go! Do you have your flu shot? Planes are incubators haha I always land with some sort of yuck brewing.

I just flew earlier this week for work and my dr said to just stay super hydrated and make sure you get up and move around if you're on a very long flight. I brought some snacks to help if I started feelin sick...otherwise it was uneventful. ✈️

You should be fine. But yes flu shot and hand washing is a must. I flew with my fist when I was about 25 weeks. No problems expect having to pee. I suggest the aisle seat close to the potty. Pack lots of snacks and water.

I'm flying at Christmas from TX to CT. Mentioned it to the doc and he was fine with it. Gave me no reason to worry. I'll be 9 -10 weeks when I fly. HTH. 
You could always ask to be sure, but I'm guessing it won't be a big deal.
