I’m a single mom, it’s just me and my soon to be 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter ina 3 bedroom home.. we all sleep in the same room, my son wakes up crying looking for me all the time and my daughter is breastfed, should I be having them in their own beds and bedrooms? How do you get over the anxiety of all not sleeping in the same room? I know I’m gonna eventually have to do this as I will start dating one day lol and will have to stop breastfeeding for my surgery which was put on hold atm due to corona, but will give me time to wean my little one, should I expect to wake up a few times in the night? Will they cry? Will they get traumatized? I’m anxious with all the horror movies and news I see of ppls kids getting abducted right from their bedrooms when asleep, and I’m scared of sids and not being close to them to notice anything.. I’m having a hard time with the idea of not having them sleeping by me in case of emergencies.. is this normal?
