DR made me feel crazy about my IUD

Hi ladies! So I had the Mirena IUD for about a year and a half. After the first 10 months of having it I was feeling really off. (headaches, nausea, mood swings, weight gain and depression) I went to see my primary doctor and she said it’s the IUD because it’s hormonal so I should talk to my OBGYN. Well I’ve had health insurance issues and I FINALLY was able to see the OBGYN this past Friday. Keep in mind I’ve still been feeling the same since. I tell the OBGYN how I’m feeling and what the other doctor told me about the IUD and I would please like to remove it. Well she seemed pretty irritated at me and said all that information was wrong and the way I’m feeling is not related to the IUD. The symptoms I have are a whole different issue and I should see my primary doctor about them. She said I was removing it for the wrong reasons but she’ll do whatever I decide. I know my body and I’ve never felt like this since the IUD was put in, so I still had her take it out. I feel like I’m going crazy now and wanted to see if anyone feels this way with their Mirena? Did I do the right thing? Cause the OBGYN made me feel uncomfortable and like I was exaggerating.
