Feeling discouraged 😞

34 weeks with third baby. I’ve had diet-controlled GDM with all of them but this time it’s not working to just diet control and baby boy has been consistently measuring 2-3 weeks ahead for the last two months. I was put on low dose metformin two weeks ago and it has only minimally helped. So now I double the dose and go back next week and if it’s not better I’ll have to add in insulin. I start NSTs each week at 36 weeks and she won’t let me go past 39 weeks so most likely induction. I was induced with my first and HATED it. My last birth happened naturally and from first contraction that also broke my water to birth was only two hours. I loved it and was hoping for something similar this time. 😔 I know it’s best for baby to be healthy and safe but I’m grieving what I thought would be my last birthing experience.
