How many naps is your 6-7 month old taking?

We are in between two and three and idk if I should just have a bad week but transition her to two or try my best to make three work (it’s barely working).

I didn’t vote because it depends on the day. We’re in between also. That’ll just keep happening for a while depending on nap length. We often cap that last night as well and it’s a short one just to make it through.

We follow a sleep program that states babies drop to 2 naps between 6-8 months. Also that day sleeps shouldn’t be more than 2 hour 40 mins a day for 6-7 month olds. Our bub some days only does two naps and others does 3.. but we never let her sleep longer than 20 mins for nap #3. Awake windows with 3 naps 2.5 hours.. last wake window if she refuses nap #3… 4 hours!! She sleeps 7/7.30-7/7.30.

Three. We will be until 8-10months as that’s ideal to prevent overtiredness. Their wake windows are a little too short at this age to get 2 solid naps without allowing/expecting too much day sleep. (Ideal wake windows for 6-9 months are 2-2.5 hours before first naps and 2.5-3 hrs between other sleep sessions and a range of 2-3.5 hours of day sleep and 11-12 hours overnight)

My daughter is doing two naps but sometimes she wakes up from her second nap super early but it's still late enough that I can't put her down for a third so it's a long haul until bedtime. That's perfectly normal for this age and it's just a huge adjustment and a lot of long evenings sometimes. I think it's going to be okay!! Just hang in there and she will get there.

My 7 month old naps loads 🤣 way more than 3 naps that's for sure! My eldest used to pretty much sleep all day and all night from 6 weeks to 18 months hes nearly 8 now my boys love food and they love sleep 🤣🤣
