How many words are your babies saying?

Lincoln only has two words. He’s 16 months and we just had him evaluated for speech but he didn’t qualify. Based on evaluation he is understanding and communicating average for his age besides sole health so they gave us at home tips and will reevaluate in 6 months.

Watson only babbles random things. He says mama, but not directed towards me. He has said dada a handful of times but also not directed at my husband. He is starting speech therapy and has had multiple ear infections, which cause speech delay, so we are looking at possible ear tubes in the near future.

My son was born with mild hearing loss which contributes to it but he is maybe 1-4 words and that’s stretching it. Mama and and dada. He has said GO when playing “ready set go”, up and down only a few times. He understands commands which is good but his pediatrician wants to wait until 18 months to do speech therapy but I would like to go ahead and start now
