If I take a pregnancy test 4 days before my period is supposed to start and it’s negative, would it be okay to drink alcohol? My husband is about to leave for 6 weeks and we just wanna drink together but don’t want to if I’m pregnant of course.

4 days before may give you a negative result if you are pregnant. Assuming you are pregnant, drinking this early probably won't affect baby (alcohol is worse for you as you progress through your pregnancy), but personally, I wouldn't risk it.

I had a glass of wine 9dpo thinking there was no way I was pregnant (was trying for my second and it had taken 2 years to conceive my first). I vomited it up the next morning (along with the mushroom risotto I’d had the night before 🤢). I think that’s why it was still in my belly. That’s what triggered me to take a test so early as I’d only had one standard drink. The test was positive and I’m glad it put me off drinking as my last pregnancy I was missing having wine. Anyway enjoy your drink and I hope you don’t have the same experience as me 🙂
