Covid-conscious parents of children under 2, are we supposed to avoid unvaccinated family members?

Question

We are in a high transmission, low vaccinated area. Most of our family members are vaccinated except for one. He does not wear a mask either and my little one is too young to. Should we be avoiding him in indoor settings amid the rise of the delta surge?
I feel that I should also add that he declined the vaccine for non-medical reasons. 
Please, no political responses. Just wondering if anyone has a reference to some research because I'm having trouble finding the answers myself.

Vaccinated are spreading it to, so what’s the point?

From my understanding, kids younger than 5 are extremely low risk. Out of all Covid cases roughly 300,000 have been children and of those, ~60 ended up in hospital. So unless they are high risk it’s extremely unlikely they will get sick. However, they can transmit to you and others if they get it. 
Also, just because someone is vaccinated it doesn’t stop someone from being a carrier and spreading...

Oh man I must be in the minority here, but I respect everyone’s choices…. I was told by my OB that My unborn baby has antibodies too now.    Covid seems like one of the least likely things to make my baby sick compared to other illnesses their immune systems can handle.  Also, I know personally several people fully vaccinated that are sick with covid right now.  So for me if you can still pass covid and get covid with the vaccine then what’s the point of only allowing vaccinated?  I hope the vaccine totally helps avoid hospitalization and death… but I’ve seen zero proof in the medical field my husband works in that it stops it from spreading or receiving covid.  What about those who have had covid and have antibodies? 
I’m way more concerned about cold/flu/RSV infections spreading then my baby getting covid.  
Kids seem the most safe from it.  Just my thoughts…. I’m going to have covid tests available and tell people with any type of sickness to stay away and definitely no kissing the baby! To each there own though! Best wishes!  These are hard times.

Unvaccinated family will not be allowed to see me or my son, that’s the rule. Vaccinated will still need to wear masks as the Delta variant is spreading through the vaccinated anyway. It’s strict, but it’s how I am choosing to raise my child. 
Vaccinated and outdoors while distanced, no masks necessary. We still go to the park and see friends there.

I avoid my unvaccinated family and my kids are 3 and 5. Both of my parents and my sister refuse the vaccine for non-medical reasons so they are only allowed outside visits with our kids until our children can be vaccinated.

I don't avoid unvaccinated family but I do avoid anyone that doesn't wear a mask and anyone that has any signs (even a small cough) my children's health and safety is more important than ANYONE else's feelings

I avoid unvaccinated family members. My baby is 6 weeks and was born a month early. I’m not risking her little immune system. I’m also avoiding the other children that are school aged (my nephew). It sucks but they understand.

I am a nurse and work in health care. The delta variant is spreading like wildfire among vaccinated and unvaccinated people. Although I will say that among the many outbreaks our unit has had, it is spreading more among the people who are unvaccinated. So far almost all vaccinated individuals have been asymptomatic while unvaccinated individuals have had symptoms.  
Kids are generally low risk and will not show symptoms but that doesn't mean they can't spread it to other people who are at higher risks. 
We have an almost 2 year old and I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant. We are pretty covid conscious as well. I am not too concerned about my daughter getting it but would feel absolutely terrible if she passed it to grandma who has more health problems. We are choosing to not see people who are unvaccinated or vaccinated individuals who recently traveled. It's tricky to navigate because you also want your kid to be socialized with other kids. We picked a couple family members and friends who are covid conscious as well to have play dates with and hope for the best. It literally only takes one person, one time to get it.  I feel like it's pretty inevitable at this point to get it. All you can do is the best you can. Good luck.

I would absolutely avoid indoor visits with anyone unvaccinated. Doesn't matter the reason - that's just too risky.
