So my fiancé and I did the deed and ended around 12am. As soon as we were done I got STRONG contractions. Walked around, drank water, laid on left side, took a warm bath. Still wouldn’t go away. Thursday I was 2cm and 80% effaced, now the L&D nurse said I’m between 4/5 cm. I didn’t think sex would actually put me into labor that quick. I’m 39 weeks 1 day.

Update:

After making that post I quickly progressed to 6or 7 cm so they switched me rooms and gave me my first dose of penicillin since I tested positive for group b strep. After that dose ended 30 minutes later I got the epidural. Got administered my second dose of penicillin, checked my cervix and was at 9 cm and was given pitocin (I have no clue why because I was constantly contracting and dilating). Then needed to be on oxygen and cut off the pitocin it was stressing baby out. Pushed for 1 hour and gave birth to my daughter at 12:54pm yesterday. She’s beautiful I love her, I’m at home now.
