How many words is your 17/18 month old saying? I’ve just counted mine and she’s saying around 26 including animals noises, just curious what how many others are saying?

We're over 50 words. But that's about average for 18months. The average range is 10-50.
And anything over 200 words is advanced. So if baby lands
anywhere near there, you're totally fine! 😊

Mine is at 30 and that includes animal sounds as those count as words. He has really been saying a lot more these past couple months! He had me and his pediatrician worried as he wasn't saying even one word when he turned 1.

My son only says like 4 words that actually communicate something. The name of his lovey, "water", "duck", & "poop" 
He'll sign for "milk" & "more" 
He'll hand you something he's holding if you ask "can I see that." 
But actually SAYING words...he's so behind I feel :(

My son only says mama, dada, bubba (his sippy cup), this, & that. Doctor said at his last appointment if he’s not saying more by his 18 month checkup then she’s gonna refer us to speech therapy.

About 50 words. Even doing 2 word phrases. She is very advanced for language !

34 official words & a few animals sounds used consistently, and in the right context. And another 10-20 that he mimics, and has occasionally said without us prompting, but not often enough that it can be counted yet

The last couple of months she's become really chatty. I don't think I could count how many. I'm surprised as she didn't really babble much when she was younger!
