Too late for a c-section?

Just out of curiosity, I'm 36 weeks pregnant and getting pretty nervous and a little scared. I didn't know if it was too late to schedule a c-section or not. I don't want negative comments please...

I think you just need encouragement. It's natural to get nervous or scared. Your body is built for this though! Try to relax and talk to your hubby or a friend about what you're feeling. I'm more mervous about having to end up with a c-section! Haha we're opposite. You can do this momma! You're not far off! I'm 36 weeks as well and it does get more nerve-wracking each day because you know your body is about to go through a lot. But think of the beautiful gift that comes out of it all!

You can decide if you want a cesarean depending on your doctor. Don't be told you can't most doctors ask your birth plan before moving forward so your need to discuss that with him/her.

You can speak to your obgyn. If there are concerns he may schedule one. I am having one due to health reasons. I think it is so rude for people to judge. It's like judging someone for getting breast implants. It is your body and your fears, and it is completely normal.

It's ok to be scared of the unknown! But mama, take it from someone who knows -- A C section isn't a thing to do unless you need it. My first child was an emergency C and because I almost died during it, I don't get to choose to try for a vaginal birth next month. Let your body try first, even if your mind is afraid.

You definitely need to talk to your doctor. I don't believe most will just schedule a c section, but that's something for your dr to confirm. It will also cost more for a c section & you'll be in the hospital for another day. You are not alone in being worried, but our bodies were made for this

If you're worried that birth will be scary, watch a c-section video and a birth video then make your choice. As long as you get that baby! :)

I had a c section with my 1st (not by choice) and let me just say I am so thankful there are VBACs! I had complications where the spinal didn't take and I felt them cut me open, I went into shock and had to be put to sleep. I also was stapled back together. It was the worst pain I've ever had in my life. I don't even wish the recovery process on my worst enemy.. I had a vaginal delivery with my 2nd and that went magically!! I have a fear of being in labor, and even vaginal deliveries scare me, but I'm more mentally relaxed with vaginals than c sections... I probably would skip the appt if I had to have a c section 😂😂😂

I had to have a c-section with my first due to medical reasons (I had to have another surgery at 8 months and my OB didn't want me going into labor). It was planned and went great. I've heard that emergency c-sections are much worse than planned ones. I didn't even have to take the pain meds after leaving the hospital. Just talk to your OB. A lot of them are open to elective c-sections. Just know the risks of both ahead of time. And don't let anyone judge you or make you feel bad. Your body, your baby. Your decision.

My baby is breach and if she doesn't turn I'll have to get c section. I am
36 weeks too and I still don't have date for my c section. I would asume you can still get one. You should talk to your doctor though. If I had a choice I would definitely go natural. I had 18 h natural birth with my first one and I would still do this rather then c section. 😉 good luck mama
