Covid test before c section ?

Does anyone know if you need a covid test before your c section ? Mine c section is Tuesday

My hospital requires it unless your vaccinated. Same for induction.

I'd take a look at your hospitals protocols. Mine has them listed on their website so.  If you're vaccinated, you don't need a test unless you're showing signs of covid. If you're unvaccinated then they require a test. I got both my shots at the hospital I'm delivering at so they already have my records on file.

Got tested Monday and my c section is scheduled for Friday. 
My Hospital requires a negative test whether your vaccinated or not.

They’re doing mine 2 days before surgery at my pre-op appt.

Our hospital is requiring it. I’ll go in the day before my scheduled section and the L&D nurses do the swab, even if your fully vaccinated. Not sure yet if my husband has to get tested too or not.

I assume it depends on the hospital but for ours, yes. 
My c section is schedule for 10/6 and I need to produce a negative PCR test from within 72 hours…but results for those tests are taking up to 72 hours AND they refuse to schedule appointments, it’s first come, first serve. So….I’ll be arriving at the testing site before they open on 10/4 and praying my results are ready by 10/6. 🙄😑

I’m scheduled to have my c-section on the 5th as well. I have a covid test scheduled for the 1st (Friday before). My husband doesn’t have to get tested they said.
