How would you take this comment from your OB? 🤔

So me and my child’s father has ended things for good, but it has unfortunately started getting really ugly between us. I’m 33 weeks pregnant. My ex is a physician and referred me to one of the best OBs in the area who I have been seeing since finding out I was pregnant.

Anyways, since drama has started with my ex, I told my OB if he texted him asking about my care, that I did not give my consent and will have him removed from my records. He agreed and said no problem. He then asks me, can I ask what is going on between y’all? I explained that it was a lot of drama that I really did not want to get into, but long story short we were not together and it was becoming legal so that’s why I wanted him off. He apologized for my hardship. Then he turned to me and said, Man,…I just want to let you know I have always thought you were a very attractive woman, even now while pregnant. It was a little awkward but I thanked him and smiled. I told him I try to get up and motivated to get ready when I can since I’ve been depressed with my situation. He told me he’s always thought that about me ever since I started coming to see him.

Do you think he was just being nice to make me feel better? My friend keeps saying it’s just a weird comment to make but I’m not sure if his intentions were to just cheer me up and get my confidence up. Since the guy deals all day with pregnant emotional women 🤷🏼‍♀️😅
