My husband and I have been together for 7 years, married 4. We only had sex after marriage, before marriage we were in a long distance relationship.

In the beginning, we were ALWAYS having sex. Sometimes multiple times during the day (in the first few months), it was amazing. After the 1st year of marriage, I got pregnant and sex slowed down quite a bit as I had awful morning sickness but also because of work and just normal life things.

After baby was born, we barely had sex. We went through a phase of having quite a bit of sex for like 2 weeks and then it just died off. I was always the one to initiate sex, never my husband. I have a higher sex drive than him but knowing he was having sex 'just because' I wanted to, felt a bit shitty to me as it made me feel unwanted and ugly.

If I don't initiate sex, he could go months without having sex. Fast forward to when my 1st baby is around 14 months, we have sex 3 times in that 1 month and I got pregnant (in June/July). Didnt have sex until January 2021 after that (which is 6 months later I think). We are still yet to have sex since then. I gave birth in March 2021 and haven't had sex since January.

We have tried multiple times to have sex, but 1 of 2 things happen. Either one of the kids wake up just as he's about to put it in, or he doesnt get hard enough to put in. Having an erection isn't an issue for him during other times, just seems an issue when we're about to have sex. I also feel like "urgh" during foreplay as I've just given up caring about having sex with him now after being repeatedly rejected by him.

Our relationship is otherwise very strong thank God. We are so much stronger than we've ever been before but this is the only issue in our relationship. I've resorted to masturbation which I believe is a sin so don't want to continue doing it in all honesty.
