Gender vs heart rate??

Question

Has anyone ever had the heartbeats be close in range and have their babies be of opposite sex?  I'm just curious. With my daughter I just had a gut feeling she was a girl from the get go but I'm not so sure about this one.

My son started out at 158 then lowered to below 140. I'm pregnant with my daughter and she started out at 178 and has been above 140 the whole time! So the heart rate was right for me

I guess my title may have been a little misleading! Lol..let me clarify. I didn't mean if it's higher girl and lower boy. I just meant having two babies of the opposite sex with heart rates around the same. Like if your first baby has heart rates in the 160s and it's a girl, and the second one had heart rates the same or close and it was a boy. :)

If the "theory" was true my boy would be a girl.

It's been studied. There are no links between heart rate and gender. Any anecdotal stories that support the theory are simply coincidental. Sorry. Sucks to have to wait and wonder for 3-4 mos!

This is my first child and have always had a higher heartbeat (around 150) and it's a boy!

This my first Child her heart rate was always high 140-165 it never went lower
