Can you love someone after 2 month?

I’m in a new relationship, we’ve been talking for some time and met for the first time 2 month ago. I don’t know how to explain it, we’re just compatible in every way possible. There has never been an ounce of mistrust, he treats me like a queen. He puts so much effort in our relationship, our goals align perfectly, there’s so much chemistry in every aspect. We both value each other and communicate a lot. I honestly see a great future for us! But, then I remember it’s only been 2 month. Is it possible to know after such a small amount of time? We’re in our late 30s btw and have been married, divorced, there’s kids in the picture (they/we haven’t met). But I just feel like this is the man I was supposed to be with all along. We’re still going to take it slow with meeting the kids and etc no matter what, we both agree on that, but I feel like I’m so in love (and he does too, at least that what he shows and expresses). Is this too fast? Too stupid?

Not stupid at all. My hubby told his best friend that he knew he was gonna marry me after a month. We clicked in every way too. Sometimes you just know. It's been over three years and we are still happy together.

My husband and I said we loved each other after two months. Looking back we probably didn't ACTUALLY love each other but that did change and now we've been together for 18 years.

Yes, I loved my husband and wanted to marry him after our first date. I didn’t want to be the one who said I love you first though and so I tried to hold out. However, one morning after dating about two months I was leaving for work and “good bye, I love you- why the fuck did I just say that?” Slipped out of my mouth- he laughed and we’ve been saying it ever since.

every relationship that is still standing in my family happened fast lol. My husband said he loved me after TWO WEEKS!! (I said lol no you don’t…oops guess he did), grandparents were married within 2 months, and so were my parents. It’s been 6 yrs for my relationship, parents have been together 21 years, and grandparents were together for almost 60 years. Sometimes you just know!

I don't think it is that fast at all especially since you are both a bit older and have been through marriage I feel like you would both have better understandings of yourself and what you want.

It's gonna sound crazy. My husband, on our second date told his friends "she's gonnna be my wife, but she doesn't know that for now". This was in December 11th. On Christmas he asked to move in, I did, in April he proposed and we had our wedding in July. We love each other to the moooooon.
So, it's not stupid and not fast. When you know, you know ❤️

For me personally I think it’s a no, I think there’s such thing as emotional codependency, emotional attachment, maybe catching feelings, but falling in love in two months just seems way too quick for me, on the contrary if somebody told me they were catching feelings that quick, I would probably be backing off. Because things that happen fast tend to end fast. There’s some thing called love bombing, people come on strong, they put in the maximum effort in the beginning to get you, once they have you when things settle, they do the minimum and flip the script, and you end up chasing them. Until you get tired of the crap and want out. I’m somebody who takes my time getting to know someone, and two months, I’m sure you haven’t even had your first fight yet,￼ And you also need to remember that everyone puts on their best face in the beginning, nobody says hi these are all my negative traits and these are my intentions. You don’t learn that somebody has passive aggressive behavior or are manipulative or use guilt or are controlling or abusive in any way, nobody says I am jealous, possessive, etc. if people listed all their bad traits on day one no one would be with them. Or they were try and change them in hopes that they would be different with them which is ridiculous, if somebody says hi I’m at abusive asshole, and somebody stays with that person, probably not a good idea. It takes a good year to get to know someone and even then they can surprise you. Until situations arise, and different characteristics come out, you don’t know someone, you don’t know how they handle stress, anxiety, depression, anger, will they take it out on you, etc. There’s so many things you need to talk about before you even think about getting married or anything else, communication, problem-solving skills, what you consider cheating, is pornography cheating or fan only cheating, talking to other women or having friends of the opposite sex, money, debt, credit, bankruptcies, since you’ve both been divorced before I’m sure you come with baggage, baby mamas and baby daddies or ex-husband’s or ex-wives, and the drama that comes with them, every relationship ended for a reason it wasn’t just one person, and no matter the store they tell you, I’m sure there’s two sides to every coin. It’s just way too quick for me for two months I’m sorry call me a skeptic or pessimist or whatever else, but it takes time to get to know someone.￼￼

I take those words very seriously, so for me 2 months is definitely not enough time. I'll be infatuated & "in lust", but not in love. I need to see who the person is after the honeymoon phase of the relationship wears off. I need to see how they deal with stress & tough times. I need to see how they treat people (family, strangers etc). I need to see how they treat me during & after an argument. I need to see how they handle their finances etc. Basically, when I see the real person & their layers, then I will know in my heart how I feel. I don't have a set timeline.
