What are first signs of premature labor??

I’m about 34 weeks and for about 3 hours I’ve been having cramps that come and go in my lower abdominal area. They’re not bad but a little uncomfortable and my discharge is a bit more than normal. That’s about it though. Is this cause for concern or just normal?

It’s completely normal. It’s your body preparing to have a baby. As due date approaches, some women start producing significantly more discharge which can sometimes be confused with your water breaking. As far as the cramps, as long as they aren’t becoming regular, there shouldn’t be any cause for concern. Sometimes being dehydrated can cause our body to have more Braxton Hicks contractions.
