Bleeding and clots

I’m really worried and just trying to read other experiences. I’m 5 weeks+6 I started get a sharp stabbing pain on Wednesday that would come for a few seconds then pass and I had a little spotting. The next day the pain more frequent and I started bleeding a little heavier(red) but not filling pads. On Friday I went to the ER. The pain was gone but I was still bleeding and passed a quarter sized clot. The doctor told me it’s too soon to see the baby and my levels are low which could also be because it’s too soon. So they basically said I could be miscarrying or I might not be and to just get another blood test and ultrasound next week. I’m trying to rest and be stress free as possible but it’s so frustrating not knowing what’s happening.
