My in laws think im mentally ill

Rebecca • Wife💍 Harrisons mommy 🥰 TTC baby #2

Due to covid and with me being in my third trimester, i made the decision to stay home... i only go to the OB and ultrasounds and thats it. Im not vaccinated due to reactions to previous vaccines and its not recommended by my OB that i get it until after i give birth.

Anyway, i made the call not to go to gatherings with family, im not working, im not going to the grocery store, im really not going anywhere. My mother in law wants to get together for thanksgiving (i live in canada so its this month) and i told my fully vaccinated husband that he should go but im not going in protection of myself and our unborn son. I also have diabetes, asthma and im overweight so my risk of hospitalization and ICU admission is significantly higher than most people.

My husband was helping his mom move today and told his family this and now they think im mentally not ok. His brother wants to come over and check on me later and make sure im ok. His family is apparently worried about me. Idk what to say to my husband or his family to convince them im completely fine and just being cautious because i want a healthy baby. I feel like my husband overstepped by freely talking about my mental health with my in laws and although i appreciate how much they care about me, i dont really appreciate that they think my mental state isnt ok because i choose to protect me and my child over going to a gathering with over 10 people. What should i do?
