Is this true?

I guess I’m just vulnerable but I have been feeling pretty awful.

So I went to dinner with some coworkers.

1 guy is engaged but his fiancé is in another country

2 girls are married with kids

1 girl is single

Me, I’m in a relationship.

So the guy was saying how he has his booty call here in California. I was in shock because I thought he was engaged. He said he still is engaged and his side chic knows and they’re just hooking up since he doesn’t get sex often …..he said he isn’t worried about his fiancé finding out because his side chic and him have a mutual agreement …

Then my other coworker (the female) tells me: “honestly girl, you live in some fantasy or fairytale but all men are the same. I catch my husband messaging other girls and I’m okay with it. I rather him flirt with them and I know about it”

So I ask if he sleeps with them. She says he doesn’t but she’s okay with her husband flirting with other females. Then the guy says “honestly no guy is faithful. You think your bf only sleeps with you and only talks to you?”

The other coworker then starts to tell me “well he may not be sleeping with them but it’s normal for guys to message other girls on social media. They’re men. They’re curious. As long as he doesn’t sleep with them”

I’ve been wanting to ask my bf but I’ll feel toxic. Is this true?? Do guys have trouble staying loyal!? Is it okay to talk to other females in a flirty manner?
