Red hair baby?

My husband has red hair, I have natural red highlights but my hair is mostly a dark brown.

My mom is weird, and wants her grandkids to look like her family. (Like she makes comments all the time about how she’s glad my daughter has dark hair/dark eyes like her, but she also makes comments about how my niece and nephew, who have blonde hair and blue eyes don’t look like they’re apart of our family. She’s not really nice in the way she does it.)

I have a one year old, and his hair was dark when he was born, but I keep telling her that it’s turning red, like my husbands hair. She swears it’s not, and the comments are almost every time she sees him.

I just want some validation that I’m right. Lol.

This baby does have red hair… right?!
