38+4 Still no check ? Anyone else?

Question

I have yet to get A cervix check  of any sort. My nurse says My cervix looks high at my last ultrasound which was at 36w exactly… she says it’ll just cause Me unnecessary discomfort  my next app isn’t until my due date which is Oct 18th  which will be a 1hr ultrasound… if no baby. Any one else Experience no cervix check this far in pregnancy? (FTM😁)

They don’t necessarily give you one unless you ask for it.

My doctor doesn’t do them unless you ask! Theo reasoning is that it is really no indication of anything. You could be at the same dilation and effacement for weeks with no change!

I didn’t have one till 39 weeks…. Currently 39 weeks and 3 days…. Waiting, waiting, waiting…
