Pacifier?

So I had my babies yesterday. Everything was perfect until tonight that I've been up with them since 1am (currently 5:19am) because they keep fussing even though I changed their diapers, fed them, and made sure they were comfortable. I am still in the hospital but they barely help 😮‍💨... Well I decided to give them pacifiers and it has been peace for the past 15-20 mins, but I didn't really want to do it because they kept telling me here in the hospital how they do not recommended the pacifiers now because something with their eating...

So my question is: when did you give your baby a pacifier? I don't want to look like a bad mom 😩😩😩😩
