When are you guys having kids😒

Is it weird to get annoyed when people ask when are you having kids/ why don’t you have any yet? (I’ve never personally experienced infertility let alone even been 🥜 in… ) Im 25 & absolutely do want children in the later future but it really irritates me when people ask me or my husband when we are having kids… its so much pressure from both sides bc his two brothers 41 & 42 are both single without kids and I’m a only child of a very small family and it’s pretty much all our families want to talk about when we catch up… like leave it alone geez…. anyone else get annoyed by this or is it just me?😅

Its okay to be annoyed, it's a rude question. The implication that because you have to equipment to have children, that you will do, is insulting to some, insensitive to the rest, and intrusive also. 
There's still this narrative that a woman "should" have children. That their lives are unfulfilled if they don't have kids. Some women don't want them at all, some women struggle with infertility, some women have suffered multiple miscarriage in their pursuit to have a baby, some women have lost children post partum. It's just not a question that's appropriate, by all means talk about it if the other person brings it up, but I do believe it's rude to ask. 
This is coming from a cis woman who does have a child and I have always wanted children. But I'm still insulted by the implication that my life may not have been complete if I had chosen to not have children.

I'm annoyed for you 😂 I get that it's a big deal for people but it's really none of their business. I'm 27 with 2 kids so I'm usually asked if I'm done having kids now, like just leave me alone and let me live my life 😂

No, it's annoying. I reached a point where I either told people they'll know when it happens so stop asking or mind their own business.

It’s definitely annoying. I got pregnant with my first fairly young (21) and forever after him I got the question of when I was having another. Well when we decided we were ready and got pregnant with our second when I was 25, I got the question of if we were having anymore WHILE I WAS STILL PREGNANT WITH HER. Then people would look at me like I was insane when I told them no and I was getting my tubes tied after. I don’t understand why people think other people having babies is any of their business 🤷🏻‍♀️

We got that question a lot, my husband and I have been married 7 years now, and I’m currently pregnant with our first. We wanted to travel and enjoy time with each other first, and I wanted to establish my career. After about 2ish years our families slowed down on the asking when it was going to happen, and pretty sure they thought it would never happen when I finally told them we were expecting 😂 hang in there, it is rather annoying but live your life!

I’m only 21 but I don’t plan on having kids until I’m in my late twenties. I just want to own my house & be financially stable & work through my own trauma before bringing another human into this world, I get asked this question sometimes & It annoys the living hell out of me like it’s none of their business when my partner & I decide to start trying for a family

Yeah I think it's a question people shouldn't ask unless they are super close with you. I was the same way I didn't care about having kids in my early 20's but people would ask and I just didn't have answer besides it hasn't happened yet 🤷 I think some people like family may just be curious or wondering what your life plans are and I find that to be okay, it's when people you don't know or know very little ask is weird.

Such an insensitive question to ask and so inappropriate. My husband 30 and I 25 are currently expecting our first. So many factors go into having children and sometimes inlaws and your parents only want them for selfish reasons. Either way I'd tell them we aren't ready but we are enjoying practicing... that normally got people who asked me to shut up about it.
