I plan to get a sweep at my 39 week appointment next week. I was only about a fingertip dilated, 60% effaced, end low and cervix soft at my 38 week. I'm praying I have made enough progress for a sweep. If I do get the sweep, do you think my doctor would still schedule an induction date just in case the sweep doesn't work? Just to have it in the books. We can not go over our due date and this would be the last time I see my doctor before my due date.
