Growing up my parents were separated. I have nine siblings. My dad has three (my sister and I have the same mom and dad my dad has one child by my stepmom, and the rest of my siblings have different dads) my mom has eight. My mom was really really poor. She could barely afford toys for my siblings during xmas and each year my siblings get no presents at all. A few years I remember my stepmom buying them presents for xmas, but other than that they would usually get nothing or have to share a small amount of presents.

One year my sister and I visited my mom during Christmas, I was 8 years old. It was the first year that I had ever seen my mom buy my siblings presents and they had a ton of toys and clothes. She didn't buy my sister and I anything but no hard feelings from either of us because we knew her situation. My younger brothers let me play with their toys and I really enjoyed playing with a couple of action figures they got for xmas. I played with them the whole weekend until my brother (who was 7 at the time) and I got into a fight. He told me that I couldn't play with his toys anymore. I got so mad at him and for some reason I felt like I needed revenge. So I threw all the action figures away the same day I went back to my dad's house. I felt so bad for so long because they never had a xmas like that after I threw away their toys because my mom said they broke and lost all their toys and she wouldn't buy toys like that again and she didn't. I felt so bad but never spoke up.
