People have such horrible misconception on this covid vaccine. You are not protected from getting it nor even spreading it yourself.

To me, this actually isn't about whether the person is vaccinated or not - as other have said, vaccinated people can carry and transmit Covid 19. 
This is more about *why* are they not vaccinated... Do they have a medical condition, and therefore they are very scrupulous about their health and those around them? Or, do they believe that they shouldn't have to vaccinated because they don't want to? 
If it was the latter, I would absolutely hesitate about letting them see our newborn, I would want to know about their views on masking, hand hygiene and social distancing, I would think about he job that they do, the people they associate with, and whether they would abide by our rules if they won't follow those set by the government and WHO.
However, conversely, I would also question whether someone who was vaccinated was still taking all the precautions, for example, does the person believe that because they are vaccinated, everything else can just stop?
So, I would always stop and think before letting anyone around our child, and for me it actually comes down to the person's actions in their own life. Neither a mask nor a vaccine will protect a newborn from general ignorance.

Well um none of us are, and my entire homebirth team, I made sure is not lol. I'd let anyone in my family unvaccinated hold and see my baby (since literally none of them are vaccinated) I'd be more weary of someone recently vaccinated, as there have been studies on spike proteins that show up in people's bodies after being exposed to the recently vaccinated. So, no thanks.
(Also, opinions aren't needed on my comment. If you don't agree with our choices, absolutely make your own comment about all the reasons you would want to be around someone who is vaccinated. That's fine! Everyone can make that choice for themselves)
