C-Section Necessities??

I’m having my 2nd c-section in a few weeks, my first was 9 1/2 years ago and it was not planned.  What items help with recovery? I want to make sure I have everything to make healing as comfortable as possible!! Leave your suggestions please!!!!

I don’t know if I would class these as necessities rather than tips but this is what helped me with my first c-section and I’ll be having another in a matter of weeks.
1) loose fitting clothing. Night gowns, loose sweatpants/yogas are a must. You’re not gonna want tight yogas/leggings as they can put pressure on the incision.
2) Pillows, when I had my first c-section I was morbidly obese and when I slept I needed pillows pretty much barricaded all around me just to support my stomach to prevent pulling on my incision. This pregnancy I’ve lost over 110lbs and at a healthy weight so I’m curious to see if this will be as much of a necessity as I remember it being the first time. 
3) ask for HELP!! Make sure if you’re able too, have someone that you can have help you during the day with baby. My partner had to work shortly after our son was born and thankfully my mom loved 5 minutes away. But also when someone wasn’t readily açaí or it was nice that when he would leave in the morning he would leave things I used daily on the kitchen counter so I was stretching or trying to reach for things.

They make C-section belly support bands I ordered one of those to use this time around (my first C-section was 13 years ago and I suspect my older body won’t bounce back as easy this time as then lol). Also making sure I have step stool for getting in and out of bed when I get home. I’ve been cooking a few meals with leftovers lately to freeze to have on hand the first few days to not have to stand to cook and make it a little easier on the hubby lol, like chili. I Also have a few pair of nursing pajamas with loose pants that sit higher up on the stomach so won’t rub incision, panties like that as well. Got another boppy this time bc I felt like it was really good support to help hold baby up while feeding. That’s all I can think of that I have that is C-section recovery specific lol

Move around as soon as you can , weighted heating pad , ask for an abdominal binder it helps so much !! & stretchy clothes!

This is my 4th CS and really, there isn’t too much to prepare for. Just stay on top of pain meds the first few days and you should be feeling back to normal by weeks end.
