Im 6 weeks and I had my first betas done on Wednesday 12/9. My doctor called yesterday and my HCG was 2,500 but my progesterone was 13. The nurse said that my doctor prefers it to be 20 or above so he put me on oral progesterone supplements. I had blood drawn today but I won't know the results until Monday. I'm not having any bleeding or cramping. My question is... Is it safe to have sex with low progesterone or does that increase chance of miscarriage? Or are the two not related? Thanks!
