Period and pregnancy ?

Has anybody ever had a period but got a positive test soon after ? My last period was September 28th I should have ovulated October 12th but I took a test this morning because I’ve been extremely tired and peeing ALOT like A lot ! so I took a test and seen a vvvvvvvvvfl within the 3mins we only had sex unprotected one time and that same day my period showed up a couple hours later . Could I just have a faulty test my period is due is 6 days . Should I retest with a digital first response or just wait it out
