Ladies- opinions on trying clomid vs Femara for iui

We’re a unexplained infertility case and since they’re scheduling out into January 2022 for IVF, I decided to try another round of iui. Last year we did 2 iui cycles with Femara (letrozol) but neither resulted in pregnancy. We’re at a new clinic and this doc suggested clomid instead… any ladies have experience with both?

I don’t have PCOS, when we did Femara last year I had 3 follicles mature each time. Reading a ton of ppl say clomid gives such terrible side effects too. Idk what to do 🙄😫
