What convertible car seat brand is the most safest?

I want to purchase a new convertible car seat for my 2 year old. I really want the safest car seat that there is. New mom and kind of nervous about this purchase. Thank you in advance!

All carseats have to pass the same safety standards test. If they don't pass, they don't go on the market. So they are all equally safe but some seats have additional safety features like ridged lower anchors, anti rebound bars, steel frames, side impact protection, etc.

I have the Graco for my newborn and I gotta say I’m very impressed with it. It was easy for my husband to install, my baby was a preemie and was just under 5lbs when we left the hospital and he fit into it fine, it’s easy to put him in it and take him out of it, etc. I’m very happy with it and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

All car seats pass the same safety standards. The fancier ones you are typically just paying for convenience features. We have the Graco 4Ever and it'a great. Heavy and kind of hard to clean though.

I’m a research junkie. My conclusion was 4Ever DLX. My son was/is small though. Make sure you take your child’s growth percentiles into consideration.
