Is this job sketchy?

Hello,

Im 20 years old, and as of late, have been looking for a job to help pay the bills. I applied to an office cleaning job which claimed to be 11 an hour.

However, once sat in the interview, i was told it was 10 with .50 bonuses if i dont miss or have complaints. On the other hand, if I receive any complaint, i get money deducted from my check. My would be boss admitted she once paid a member only 10 dollars at the end of two weeks due to a complaint. When i asked how they confirm these complaints are valid, she essentially says she knows the clients and trusts their word.

I have no set schedule, just a time in which the place must be cleaned in. Not only that, but there’s no estimation of how long it will take to clean the building before i walk in and see the state of it. If I don’t finish in time, there is a penalty.

While i am desperate for work, i am concerned about the conditions and the fact my pay can be deducted from me. It promises flexibility as im in college, but also offers no more than nine hours a week. Just wanted thoughts.
