I am not gonna lie. I am getting mine now before we start trying for a baby in the new year because I wouldn't feel comfortable getting it while actually pregnant.

Don’t decide based on others. Please make this decision for you! Everybody will have something different to say and make you feel pressured or persuaded to do it. Ultimately, I wanna encourage you to do your own research and come to your own conclusion. 
There is no right or wrong choice here, no matter what people say. With my job I didn’t have a choice, but I would not have elected to get it otherwise.
