Cancelled IUI

Hello everyone,

I was due to have my second IUI procedure after a failed first attempt but received the heartbreaking phone call from my clinic today to say that my treatment would need to be cancelled because I had too many mature follicles, they said it would be too dangerous to proceed any further as it could lead to multiple births and almost definitely lead to a miscarriage.

I am just completely crushed. We've been ttc for 7 years now and thought going private would be the answer. It's so difficult going through this every single month, the negative results or the dreaded arrival of af. I know there are people worse off than me but oh my god this hurts.

I just had to get this out my head and speak to people who understand.

Third time lucky then hopefully 🙏 🤞
