What a week

Started out work yesterday by spiking a fever and consequently being kick out and told dont come back till I have a negative covid test. Pulled my son from pre k and spent all of yesterday and today together. I realized that I'm breaking habits I had from the trauma I had as kid. An example-My son didnt finish his food and instead of getting angry I told him good job for listening to your body like it was second nature. Now I'm watching Mary Poppins because I'm triggered and it's my go to to feel better(It's my go to when I feel overwhelmed). All of this because I took a second to appreciate how far I've come as a person.
