Drunken words are sober thoughts?

Wondering others opinions on this matter. Who believes that when people get drinking they start speaking the truth? 
Had a pretty hurtful experience tonight, and unfortunately I think the words “I wish I wasn’t married” are true sober thoughts. And I lay here wide awake in bed while he snores drunk on the couch.

I think those words may have some truth to it...I'm in a happy marriage right now and kinda in one of the ruts of marriage at the moment :/  theres times where I think that I would be better off on my own and things would be easier to manage, but at the same time, I dont think I'd be as happy as I am with him though. Like yes, hes a pain in the ass at times but I know I am too to him lol. I think the drunk factor is that he doesnt filter his thoughts. Maybe hes thought of it but had he been clear in the head, hed be able to understand that the cons of marriage are outweighed by the pros. That's how i see it... and i only know that those words may have some truth to it because I've thought it of my own marriage... so🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I mean…. I think most married people have those thoughts sometimes. Things can get difficult and hard sometimes in marriage.  Are they stressed? Has the relationship been difficult? Have you been going through a rough patch? People are allowed to be overwhelmed from time to time.

I don't necessarily believe that's the case, but those hurtful words definitely comes from somewhere/something and should obviously be dealt with somehow.

I talk absolute shit when I’ve had a few drinks. Drunk me is a total different person. Drunk me is very silly and loves people. 
However, aggressive drunks are different, they have been holding back their feelings and the drink makes them loosen up so and stop holding back so if this is something he only ever says when he is drunk and he gets aggravated and aggressive at the same time i would say its true and id be getting out of that relationship as it often turns violent and he will apologise and blame the alcohol.
