The guy I love doesn't love me back

I fell in love with guy and he and I were together 9 months almost a year. In June he broke up with me 5 days before my birthday. I cried for 3 days,  I didn't sleep, or eat either. I mean for heavens sake I loved him. And I would call him crying telling him I loved him and wanted him back but he just wouldn't take me back. I began to get over him. Then one day the guy and I start staying or feelings to eachother and we just don't feel the same anymore well, I feel the same but he doesn't. I love him with all my heart and he shot me down. He was like no other guy... I need another guy being single has my self esteem down:( help? Advice?
