Changed when drunk?

So there’s a guy I’m talking too, he’s really good to me and nice and he knows my whole family, I’ve known him a long time. He’s a struggling alcoholic and one time he came to my house at night, I was home alone.. we chilled and he was drinking.. we ended up sleeping together which at first I liked but then he tried to go in the back way and I didn’t like it.. it was hurting and I was trying to push him back but he’d carry on. He’d pull my hair quite hard and tell me to take it in.. I’d tell him it hurts and I’d push his left thigh with my left hand to push him out but he wouldn’t, I said stop I said no and he just pulled my hair trying harder. Then when I kinda shouted and said “no seriously stop it hurts” he stopped. He looked upset and angry but it was just hurting too much.. eventually he decided to go home and then asked me the next morning if he upset me.. I said to him there was some things during sex that I didn’t like and he just said he was sorry and that he’ll make it up to me.. will he change? He claims to like me so much but I don’t like who he is when he’s drunk..
