Looking for advice

Alexis

I know you all are probably tired of seeing my name pop up on here but I’m looking for some advice. Back in July my school closed down due to losing their accreditation suddenly. They scammed almost 10,000 students and I even made the news! I was given two options; transfer to a different school to continue my education or apply for a closed school discharge loan. Here we are 4 months later & the new school I chose to continue my education at is dicking me around! When I applied they told me I would be done by Jan of 2022. Then after getting my Financial aid stuff out of the way, they changed my graduation date to June 2022. NOW, I was filling out a tuition reimbursement paper for my work & noticed I don’t graduate until 2023. I am pretty upset about that because with my first school that closed down- I was already set to graduate Jan of 2022. When I heard I wouldn’t graduate until June 2022 I said okay no big deal only a few months. Now I’m being told I won’t graduate for almost another year since I started my education. In total, I’d be in school for almost 2 & half years! I am honestly debating about just withdrawing and collecting my losses. However I did take out student loans to get this degree so I’d be stuck with repaying them if I didn’t get my degree. If you were in this position, what would you do?
