I don’t know it’s it’s done intentionally by most guys but it’s a very human thing to let your day affect how you feel towards sex. If you’ve had a bad day, depending on who you are that might either not want you to have sex at all that night or you might need it to let out steam. It’s not crazy to think that if something turned you on that day (even unintentionally) that it’s going to affect your want or performance in sex. 
That’s why some couples mention having crazy sex after going to a strip club together.
