Does anyone work in finace/accounting? I need help!

I started a job working in accounts payable position a few months ago and this week the person that had been training me quit on the spot, didnt leave any SOP or notes about 1099 filing that's coming up in January, Which is my respnsoblity to get done before January 31st. I've been trying to find some classes online that can walk me through it but cant seem to find anything helpful. It's tough cause no one else in our office including my supervisor seems to know how do them and because it's something position normally handles it's up to me to figure it oit. When I applied for this job I told them I had no experience in 1099 filing and they assured me I would be trained and now I'm left stuck. Can somone please help me prepare for this? I would truly appreciate it.
