Am I a bad mom or has anyone else’s kid fell off the bed too?

It happens. My oldest climbed off when she was around 8 months. Left a nasty bruise across the top off her head. Barely missed her soft spot too.
I felt so bad. But you can't stop them from hurting themselves all the time. They will get hurt. As long as you remain calm and be strong for them while they're freaking out, you'll be okay. That's what I've learned. I used to freak out and make it so much worse. But now that I'm pregnant with #4, I'm much more calm under pressure. Just give extra loves and cuddles and they'll be okay! Don't worry.

Maybe not a bad mom but maybe be a bit more attentive if it was your doing that caused them to fall? (Ex leaving them on the bed alone) 
Kids fall all the time but there are also times it’s preventable

Not a bad mom. It happens and they fall too quick. Pillows are your friends. Recently my toddler fell off the bed. I heard him hit ground and he made one sound. I picker him up and lay him back on bed and he went right back to sleep. I felt so proud that I had pillows laid all around the bed. Even if it is a crib. Still put pillows in case the child climbs out magically out of the blue at 6 months.  Lol. I used to think my kid would never fall. Well, he is almost 2½ and I think he has fallen like 5 times now. First being at 4 months and most recent was this week.

I answered yes my kid has fallen off the bed I laid her there for a nap before she knew how to roll. Well guess what? she rolled….right off the bed! and no you’re not a bad mom!!! Don’t beat yourself up over it mama ♥️

Not sure if I answered right but no your not a bad mum the same happened to me with my daughter and I honestly hated myself but accidents happen you don’t have eyes everywhere but I can promise you it’ll only happen once
