Parents with 3+ kids. Did contractions feel the same every pregnancy?

Just curious if all labors will feel the same. My first 2 contractions felt the same as much as I can remember...painful at a 3 even.

But I read so many people not even realizing what's going on and not having pains until it's almost too late they get to the hospital and they're at a 6!

Just curious if everyone have seemed consistent in starting or if the more babes you have your body is more used to it so progresses with less pain in the beginning?

Also these are close pregnancies for me...3rd babe in less than 4 years if that plays a part?
