Red bleeding 37wks

I've been red bleeding mixed with mucus and with continuous lower back discomfort sinse yesterday at about 5pm after shopping the mall for about 2hours. I went to the bathroom before leaving and when walking to the bathroom I felt a pressure in my lower pelvic area like she had fallen further into the Canal as it might of opened more. I've been having constant contractions (today will be day 4), they don't have any pain to them just tensing and sore at the end of the day from the frequency of them. On Monday I was a tight 1CM at 60%effaced. Friday I was 2-1/2CM and 60% effaced. I was told red bleeding could be the cervix opening but it seems like a lot but this is also my first pregnancy and everything about my pregnancy has been just odd
