Double stroller worth it?

Question

I’m due at the end of December but I also have my other little man who will be 2 years in July, he does use a stroller sometimes when we go out. Do you guys think it’s worth buying a double stroller for newborn and my toddler?

In my opinion it’s totally worth it. My oldest will be 3 in January and we have used our double stroller or wagon stroller a lot. We have a sit n stand stroller so she can choose when she wants to sit.

Yes! My first 2 are 16 months apart and this 3rd will come a few weeks after my first turns 3. I can’t imagine not having a stroller for both of them. Now that my oldest is 2.5 she doesn’t always ride in it but we got her a standing board so she can ride along the back. It’s nice to have the option. We did the baby jogger city select lux and I love it!

DEFINITELY! My boys are 15 months apart, I found out I was pregnant with my second when my first was only 5 months old. I have gotten SO much use out of my double stroller, I have a side by side one and I still use it with them now and they are 4 & 5! It comes in handy at the mall, parks, and place where there will be a lot of walking or standing. Absolutely one of my must haves!

Yes 100% a must have. Even though you can baby wear.. a toddler on the loose is no joke and no fun when you got a NB too. Gotta buckle the lil one up lol plus its nice for new baby too when they're sleepn and you are going for a walk, shopping or whatever.

If it were me, I'd keep the newborn in a carrier or wrap and let the toddler have the stroller. A double stroller is a big expense and toddlers change preferences so fast, my first wanted nothing to do with the stroller by about 20 months, she walked everywhere. For any outdoorsy events or really long walks we invested in a backpack carrier. I guess what I'm saying is that the use case for the double stroller might end up being very limited, esp if you carry the newborn.

I would. Even if you baby wear for a few months, I 1.5 year old isn’t going to walk everywhere all the time. And if you’re on day long outings, they’ll need a nap and a stroller nap is better than no nap lol. Hell, my niece is almost 5 and she doesn’t walk anywhere for more than 10 minutes. Not sure if you’re planning on a 3rd, but it could come in handy there too. Try finding a used one on FB Marketplace or something so it’s not as big of an expense.

Sort of, not really in the beginning because you can just wear the baby and it's so much easier but as the baby gets bigger it's easier to have a stroller or wagon for them
