Did you fart during labor?

So I've always been afraid of pooping during labor, & then it dawned on me that farting is also a very huge possibility. I know a lot of people will say you won't care in the moment but I really think I will. I'm not an uptight person but for some reason farting in front of anybody is a HUGE embarrassment to me. It always has been. I can't help it, it's just the way I am...& now I'm freaking out haha

My husband and I absolutely crack up about this when contractions started I couldn't stop farting. Once contractions started after my water broke I couldn't stop. And they put us in this little triage room and I was farting loudly and uncontrollably while we laughed for at least 40 minutes. Sorry if this is tmi for some people but it's natural...and you really don't care once it's happening. I work in healthcare and nurses, cnas and doctors see it all eventually no need to be embarrassed.

I never believed this until I had a baby but you really won't care when your in labour. I ended up having a c-section but was induced and remember bouncing on the yoga ball with my nightie rolled up above my stomach with the heart monitor on to keep check on the baby, no knickers on and you know what, I did not care one bit. Trust me if you fart you really won't care!

I kept telling my midwife that I was going to fart and she said who gives a fuck and I actually didn't. But I felt like I was taking a huge poo poo.

Omgsh I didn't even think of this. I'm a vegetarian so I fart constantly lmao I'm not gonna think about it though, I'll embrace the gas haha

I'm the same I don't fart I front on my fiancé I always leave the room! It's been so hard in pregnancy as I've had soo much gas and it hurts my tummy to hold it in! One night I left the room 4 time in an hour. Lol I know it ridiculous but we've been together over 5 years and I feel it's too late to start now lol x
