Brown spotting?

I’m 8 weeks and just had light brown/orange discharge when I wiped and I’m having very mild cramps. This never happened with my previous pregnancy so I’m really worried. Is this normal? My toddler was sitting on top of my stomach a couple of hours ago, could it be because of that??

I’ve had subchorionic hemorrhages with all of my pregnancies. This is my 3rd but is the first time I’ve had spotting because of it. Just take it easy until you have an ultrasound and try not to worry unless it is like a lot of blood! Spotting is normal is what I have been told.

This is my current reality. Since it’s my first pregnancy, I got really freaked out and started crying so my S.O. called a nurse. She said that it’s likely just cervical bleeding and should stop in the next few days but to call the OBGYN as soon as possible to be certain there isn’t an underlying issue. Apparently sex, straining, lifting or other activities can lead to this. I wouldn’t be worried so just relax and monitor over the next couple of days. Hope this helps!!
